Hilton and the American Military Partner Association (AMPA) are teaming up for the first time to offer scholarships to up to five military spouses this year. Announced at AMPA’s fourth annual gala in Washington, D.C. on May 13, the scholarship is open to all military spouses, including those of retired, Reserve, National Guard, and fallen service members.
“At AMPA, we are committed to education, advocacy, and support for our modern military spouses and their families. This new scholarship program is a key tool in our mission to support those who are often overlooked and under appreciated,” said AMPA President, Ashley Broadway-Mack.
Selected on their commitment to community service, up to five spouses will be awarded a scholarship ranging between $1,000 to $2,500. All military spouses enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited program are invited to apply; applicants do not have to be members of AMPA or part of the LGBT community in order to apply.
Applications are now open until June 15. Spouses can read the scholarship criteria and rules and can apply here.
