It’s an exciting time to be a veteran business owner: A new generation of military veterans are paving the way to revive and ignite the tradition of veteran entrepreneurship through the creation of veteran-focused incubators, conferences, resources and–of course—podcasts. We’re excited to bring you part four of a four week series highlighting our top four podcasts by veteran entrepreneurs for veteran entrepreneurs.
Last week we introduced you to The MILBIZ Show, a podcast focused on helping military veterans find meaningful work after they leave the military. This week we’d like to introduce you to Veteran on the Move.
Veteran on the Move interviews today’s most influential people in the entrepreneurial world, from military veterans to startup founders, finance experts, accountants, patent attorneys and marketing gurus. The show’s goal is to train entrepreneurs from all walks of life by promoting the best ideas, tools and resources available, with a particular focus on supporting veteran entrepreneurs.
Joe Crane, the Founder and host of Veteran on the Move, served 24 years of active military duty. Throughout his time in service, Joe found himself constantly devouring business magazines and anything related to entrepreneurship. When he left the military, he knew he wanted to create a business that would help others navigate the transition into entrepreneurship, and podcasting was a natural fit:
“When I started my podcast, I woke up early every morning and stayed up late,” Joe says on his website. “I was finally creating my dream: a community of like-minded people with the same goals and desires. I get to interview fascinating people who want to help veterans achieve success in entrepreneurship. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
Since its launch, Veteran on the move has interviewed more than 75 veterans and entrepreneurs, including our own CEO, Mark L. Rockefeller. Check out his interview with Joe here.
