Thanksgiving is almost here which means that Black Friday is right around the corner. The time to start your holiday shopping, look for deals and try to find a good price on things you plan to buy this year. There are a lot of Black Friday ads out there. Military families can enjoy this season with new gifts that are ideal for our lifestyle. Most of these deals can be found online and ship to APO/FPO addresses.
Whether you’re taking photos on a day trip or the day before a deployment, having a nice camera means being able to create keepsakes and memories for the times your family is apart. 2. KitchenAid Mixer

The price is low enough you can get one for each child and yourself. With books, movies, and apps, you will all be entertained for hours.
From grabbing a cup before PT to inviting new friends over for coffee, coffee makers are a must for every military family. This year, check out Staples for a Keurig OfficePRO K145 Brewer + $15 Gift Card for $79.99 (normally $109.99). You can buy extra K-cups with the gift card or use it for more holiday shopping.
If you were in Hawaii last winter and just moved to Colorado, you will have some serious seasonal shopping to do. Old Navy has a great sale going on this year. Starting on November 23rd, they are offering 50% off the entire store and on Black Friday morning, $10 jackets. Although this is in-store, there will be other deals for online shopping.
Finding your kid’s favorite might be a good idea, especially if you just started a deployment. Check out AAFES, your local Military BX or PX. They are having 50% off sale on certain toys including Imaginext and My Little Pony. Remember that you will not pay sales tax at AAFES.
7. Photo Books
Since Grandma lives on the other side of the country, make her a photo book of your year. She will love to see all those pictures. Shutterfly is hosting special Black Friday deals this year.
Together time is precious for military families. How about starting a family game night? Walmart can get you started with their Black Friday sale on select games for $4.88. You can also find some for $8.88. This is the perfect time of year to stock up and reorganize your game closet.
Books are a must for military families. Whether you are going through a deployment or not, reading can get you through the challenges you might encounter during military life. Check out Amazon.com for book deals and see if you can buy some of the books on your wish list. You can also find some pretty coloring books to put under the tree as well.
