Disney relaxes restrictions on discounted military park passes

Disneyphiles rejoice! Disney has relaxed a few restrictions for their Salute to the Armed Forces tickets.

In Sepetember 2o16, Disney announced 2017 ticket pricing and blackout dates. Blackout dates are times when the community cannot use military discounted tickets. They usually coincide with high-volume times in the park like Spring Break and the holiday season. Last year’s announcement included blackout dates that ranged from April 9-23, 2017.

But according to their official website, the April blackout dates are no longer listed. The website now reflects that valid admission days are January 1, 2017 through December 19, 2017.

It looks as if blackout dates have only been lifted for Disney World, not other Disney properties.

Choose between a Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Ticket or a Disney 5-Day Military Promotional Ticket. The Park Hopper Option is included, so you can come and go as you please at all 4 theme parks each day of your ticket!
