My husband and I recently took Ethan (9), Seth (7), and Ellie (3) to Disneyland and California Adventure and stayed at La Quinta Inns & Suites in Anaheim, CA. We wanted to take advantage of our 3-day military park hopper tickets at Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks without breaking the bank.
Our prerequisites for a hotel were free parking, breakfast included, and a rewards program. La Quinta Inns & Suites definitely met our every requirement and went above and beyond. The staff was friendly and informative upon arrival and this La Quinta has a fun Disney theme throughout the hotel. Areli, the desk clerk, greeted us and handed us our purple military appreciation key holder. She said thank you for our military service, informed us where the breakfast would be served, and educated us on how to get to our room and where to park our car. Areli gave us a map of the surrounding area and told us about the quick 10-minute walking route to Disneyland.
The kids were so excited to use the TV in every room, my husband used the free Wi-Fi to check on our plans for Disney. The complimentary breakfast met all of our different morning needs. My 9 yr old enjoyed the hot waffles and bananas, my 7 yr old was thrilled with the cereal bar and flowing milk, and my 3 yr old was in heaven with the chocolate donuts and unlimited apple juice. My husband and I made the “responsible” grown up choices of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and hot oatmeal.
Our stay at La Quinta Inns & Suites exceeded our expectations. It was an affordable way for any military family to enjoy consecutive days at Disneyland. I would recommend the Anaheim location to all my military friends. Now that I am in the rewards program I am even more likely to look for La Quinta Inns & Suites around my future vacation or PCS spots.
