As former President Barack Obama once said, teachers are nation-builders. And that’s hard work in itself. For military spouses who are teachers, following this particular calling often comes with a heavy price tag attached. Simply moving across state lines can mean extra costs in the requirements for certification. And all teachers, regardless of military affiliation, often spend their own money on basic school supplies for their classroom and students to supplement the thin budgets that so many areas–especially those that are rural or depressed–have implemented.
To say thank you for their work during the school year, Krispy Kreme is offering free regular coffee daily until the end of July to teachers. All that’s needed to redeem the offer is to have a school ID handy and make a regular-priced purchase, Money reports.
