TaxSlayer and the TaxSlayer Bowl are rolling out the red carpet for active duty service members, retirees, and veterans and their families this December with free tickets and extra perks and experiences during game day.

TaxSlayer’s program–Honoring Our Heroes–is brand-new for this year. Up to 5,000 free tickets will be made available for military-affiliated attendees to the TaxSlayer Bowl at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, FL. The game will take place on Saturday, December 30, with kickoff at noon. The bowl game features an SEC team against Notre Dame or an ACC or BIG 10 team. There will be a tribute to military personnel, including those attending, during the game; after, a military-only concert will converge on Daily’s Place, a new venue next to the stadium.

“There is no greater honor than to have a title sponsor that gives back to those who have done so much for us and our country,” TaxSlayer Bowl President and CEO, Rick Catlett, said in a press release. “Jacksonville is such a proud military town. What better way to say thank you to our heroes than by providing them with an unforgettable experience during one of the most storied matchups in college football.”

Those who qualify will be able to request up to four tickets per military or VA ID card, DD214, or driver’s license with a veteran designation, making it possible for family members to participate, too. Limited transportation to and from Fort Gordon will be available. To enroll in the program and request your tickets, click here.
